Precisely formulated, Ortho-Sleep features a special blend of nutrients and compounds that can be effective in fighting insomnia and aiding in your ability to get a full night's rest, or to recover from jet lag.
Included in AOR's Ortho-Sleep are well-known compounds like melatonin and serotonin precursor 5-HTP, but the formula is made stronger with the inclusion of natural relaxants such as lemon balm and passionflower extract.
Studies have shown that over half of all North Americans may suffer from some of the symptoms associated with insomnia. Be it restlessness, difficulty falling asleep, or an inability to stay asleep, insomnia can have profound effects on the body's overall health, mood, and performance.
Ortho-Sleep Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid): 50 mg
L-theanine: 100 mg
L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (Griffonia seed): 50 mg
Melatonin: 1.5 mg
Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis) extract (5:1 DHE: 0.375g, 0.8% Valerenic acid): 75 mg
Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) extract (Aerial Parts) (11:1 DHE: 0.176 g): 16 mg
Lemon balm extract (Aerial Parts): 150 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, gum arabic, silicon dioxide. / Capsule: hypromellose.

Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take one to two capsules before bedtime, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
Warnings:
Do not use if you are trying to conceive; or are taking immunosuppressive drugs; or have scleroderma. AOR OrthoSleep is not to be used by individuals under the age of 18 or those with a medical condition such as a hormonal disorder, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, migraine, depression and/or hypertension.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if taking carbidopa or drugs or supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include, but are not limited to, L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John's Wort, antidepressants, pain killers, cough/cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea, anti-blood pressure and anti-migraine medication.
Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes.
Some people may experience gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain as well as drowsiness.
Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking AOR Ortho-Sleep supplement. Exercise caution if engaging in activities requiring mental alertness.
Consult a healthcare practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
