Selenium is an essential trace mineral and functions as part of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione perioxidase. It is bonded to the essential sulfur amino acid, methionine, in a naturally occurring form as found in the diet. Selenium can help form selenoproteins, which have a role in regulating inflammation and immune responses.
Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily.
Ingredients: Each capsule contains: Selenium (as L-Selenomethionine) 200 mcg Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Rice Flour, Veg Capsule (hypromellose, water), Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Cellulose.
Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
