The MedSpec ASO EVO Ankle Stabilizer is an advanced ankle brace designed to provide enhanced protection and stabilization for ankle sprains and instability, including syndesmotic (high ankle) sprains.

Its patented design combines an internal stirrup, external stabilizing straps and a dynamic cuff to provide greater support than MedSpec's original figure-eight strap ankle brace. The dynamic cuff provides circumferential compression above the ankle, while the stirrup and stabilizing straps help capture the heel and resist unwanted inversion and eversion.

Upgraded CoolFlex™ and Skinloc™ materials improve comfort, conformity and resistance to brace migration. The EVO has a bilateral design, allowing each brace to fit either the left or right foot.

🔷 Dynamic Cuff

The EVO's internal dynamic cuff features a lower-profile design that provides enhanced circumferential compression around the distal tibiofibular joint.

The cuff is lined with CoolFlex™ padding for additional comfort and Skinloc™ material to help prevent the brace from migrating downward during wear.

This design provides additional support above the malleoli and is particularly beneficial when managing high ankle sprains.

🔷 Stirrup & Stabilizing Straps

The EVO features an internal stirrup strap that is redirected through slots in the dynamic cuff before continuing outside the boot to form the external stabilizing straps.

This configuration is designed to better capture the heel and resist excessive inversion or eversion, helping stabilize both the talocrural and subtalar joints.

🔷 CoolFlex™ Achilles Pad & Tongue

CoolFlex™ padding with spandex fibre provides comfortable cushioning along the Achilles tendon and the dorsum of the foot.

The shoelace is attached directly to the tongue, helping ensure that the lace remains properly centred during application and wear.

For improved comfort and durability, the ASO EVO is constructed with no seam underneath the foot.

Eliminating the underfoot seam helps create a smoother surface inside the brace, particularly during extended wear.
